Conversion of Former Shop
Conversion of a former shop/commercial premises into three terrace style houses in Brown Edge, each with two bedrooms, the master bedroom being at the rear with a balcony overlooking the shared garden and views over to St Annes Vale. Each balcony was separated with a semi-opaque glass screen to maintain privacy between the dwellings.
Walls formed to separate the new dwellings needed to provide sound resistance between the rooms were built using dense concrete blockwork.
Space inside was a premium and a lot of thought went into the position and design of the staircases to maximise the space available whilst maintaining compliance with current building regulations.
If you are a homeowner considering a conversion, either as part of a whole building remodelling or a standalone project – or a builder needing an architectural drawing for planning or building regulations consent, get in touch today for a free of charge, no obligation consultation.
