DBD Architectural Consultancy had worked with this particular client for a number of years, initially to build a detached garage at the back of the pavement with a parking space at the side, as their drive was quite steep and unsafe during winter. This involved a planning application, and detailed design for building regulations including the structural retaining walls.
Our client had to underpin the front of the house before excavating the garage to ensure it didn’t suffer from any subsidence. They approached us to draw up plans for the two storey extension to the house providing a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and some internal alterations. Following receipt of planning permission, we carried out the detail design to obtain building regulations approval.
